PARENT BREAK ROOM FOOD TIPS
- Please bring food on 3 plates/bowls or in zip-locks – one for each block.
- Put 25(ish) servings in each container, this is meant to be finger food, not a whole meal – so don’t kill yourself w/large servings.
- Please bring food at least 15 minutes before chapel starts (8:15am). Put food on the ‘food table’ and Tracy Gregory will take care of the rest (cutting/plating/refrigeration).
- This food is for parents, please be sure to pack your child’s (or better yet have them pack their own!) individual snack for them to eat in Block B.
DISH IDEAS: (these are only suggestions)
FRUIT – cut fruit slices – tangerines – fruit salad (note: pre-cut apples do not keep well, bring them whole and they’ll be cut)
VEGGIES - a variety of cut veggies and a dip (in the past 3 store bought trays has been too much 2 would be good) Chips and salsa fit here too!
SWEETS – Cookies, brownies, chocolate!!!
PROTEIN – Egg Casserole, meat and cheese tray (the more the better on this one – POPULAR), yogurt & granola (one large container will work for all 3 blocks), Bean Dip & chips, quiche.
CREAMER – 1 large bottle (or two small) flavored coffee creamer & one large half and half container
